Outfit Idea (what I wore February 28, 2017)
Over the weekend, I took a little shopping trip on the yellow-brick road of every Style Girl in Boston –Newbury Street. Rightly hailed as Boston’s “most enchanting street“, Newbury consists of 8-blocks worth of salons and boutiques that are filled with the newest and trendiest fashions – all for the shopping! However, while the fashions sold on Newbury Street are most certainly très chic, many of them don’t come with très (shoe-string) chic price-tags. So, what was a (shoe-string) chic girl like myself doing shopping on Newbury Street over the weekend? Well, for Christmas, my mom got me a $40 gift card to this trendy little clothing boutique that I had never heard of before called Bobbles & Lace. Overall, the selection of clothes were really cute (but Small sizes were a little sparse), the two sales girls working there were very helpful and nice – and for Newbury Street, the prices weren’t half bad, especially for this Red Boho-Print Maxi Skirt that I bought, which I styled by pairing with a blue and white striped v-neck T, a black lace-detailed cardigan, a pair of black strappy pointed-toe heels, and a turquoise blue and gold statement necklace! As always, for more (shoe-string) chic, city-wearable fashions, be sure to follow daily “Style Snaps” of my personal outfits in everyday life at “Bostonian Styled (by Katey)” on WordPress and Pinterest!
