Outfit Idea (what I wore NYE 2017)
As I’m sure all of my fellow single ladies out there would agree, dating millennial men can really suck, especially with the recent(ish) modern dating phenomenon of ghosting. While being ghosted sucks in general, you know what sucks even more? When you get ghosted ON New Year’s Eve, which is how I rang in 2017 last year. Honestly, I wasn’t all that bummed about the guy ghosting me per say (he was a player, and I shouldn’t have even been with him in the first place); instead, what I was really disappointed about was that it was the third year in a row that I was unable to wear this sexy, shiny NYE dress that I bought back in 2014 due to my plans going amiss! Fortunately, I made a lot of new friends and way better dating decisions in 2017, and this year, I rang in 2018 with some of my fave girlfriends at Hopster’s Brewing Company’s Grand Opening/NYE Bash in Seaport – and finally got to wear this gold-studded, nude, one-sleeve bodycon dress with sexy mesh cutouts, which I matched with a pair of nude pointed-toe heels, and accessorized with a delicate layered necklace, and a shimmery bracelet and earrings!
